Before Ordering
Colour Accuracy Statement
Colours may vary between batches of the same product and can differ slightly from the colour swatch, colour card, or sample product. Due to the reflective nature of our paints (they reflect surrounding light) and the natural variation in our plasters (which contain natural materials that differ depending on the mining location and time), the appearance may change. Colours should only be chosen after sampling the appropriate quantity (minimum 1 litre of paint or 5 kg of plaster for projects larger than 10 square meters).
Please also review the application and site conditions advice provided on the respective product pages and Technical Datasheets. You are responsible for ensuring that the paint is applied correctly. We cannot accept responsibility for faults arising from incorrect application or site conditions.
Before placing your order, carefully review the information about the Goods (especially paints, plasters, and other decorative effects) available on our Website. The colours displayed on your computer monitor may not accurately reflect the actual colour of the material. The colours shown on the website represent the real, applied product in one thick coat. However, due to natural material variations and display differences, the real colours may differ slightly. You should order a sample board or the minimal sample quantity before making a larger purchase. Sample boards show a double-coat smooth application of the selected product, but due to natural material variations, there may be a deviation of up to 6.5 ΔE between the sample board and the final product. Substrate and protective layers may further alter the final appearance.
It’s important to note that colours may vary between batches, and you are advised to order enough material to complete your project to ensure consistent colour. The final appearance and colour will depend on factors like the surface on which the paint is applied, as well as any protective options (waxes, resins, etc.) or effects (mica, semi-transparent coatings, etc.) applied afterward.
Please be aware that our decorative plasters, paints, and effects are primarily intended as decorative coatings. When applied correctly, they generally do not exceed 1.5mm in thickness and are not designed to withstand cracks, scratches, staining, or mechanical or thermal movement.
Due to the natural nature of the materials, we cannot guarantee perfect colour accuracy. All colours on our website are indicative, and we strongly advise purchasing a small quantity (1 kg or 1 litre) for testing before placing a larger order. Additionally, we recommend ordering all materials for your project in one go to ensure consistent batch colours. Mixing the materials thoroughly is essential to prevent colour discrepancies between pots. Consult a specialist for installation to ensure proper consistency and finish. We do not guarantee the final look, as the result depends on the correct application of high-end materials.
Products ordered in larger quantities may be combined into a single larger tub, which does not affect the quantity or quality and cannot be the basis for complaints, returns, or refunds. There may also be slight differences between the stated and actual quantity of materials, up to 10% for paints and primers, and 5% for plasters, due to the manufacturing process. This does not invalidate the contract and cannot be the basis of any complaint or return.

When ordering from this Website, you may be required to create a username and password. You must keep this information secure and not share it with third parties. We will take reasonable precautions to protect your order and payment details. However, we cannot be held liable for any loss you may suffer if a third party gains unauthorized access to your data, except in cases of negligence on our part.
Orders are subject to product availability and acceptance by us. When you place an order online, you will receive an automatic email confirming receipt. This does not necessarily mean that we can fulfil your order. We will check availability and contact you via email. If the goods are available, the email will confirm the price, delivery details, and acceptance of the order. If the goods are unavailable, we will inform you via email.
In some cases, we may request that you visit our premises to discuss a “pre-order” in person to ensure we meet your requirements and that you understand the order conditions. By placing a pre-order, you accept that the product will be shipped when available, typically within 3 weeks. If the pre-ordered product cannot be shipped within this time frame, we will notify you in writing.
Colour matching may incur additional charges for lighter shades that can only be mixed in large quantities. If this is the case, we will notify you in advance and obtain your agreement before proceeding with the order.
All prices listed on the Website are accurate at the time of publication, but we reserve the right to change them. We also reserve the right to alter the goods available on the Website or discontinue product lines.
The contract for the goods will be confirmed upon dispatch, and we will notify you in writing. If any order details are incorrect, you must inform us immediately. If the order is not accepted, you will be notified in writing with the reasons.
Any contract for the supply of goods from this Website is between you and DQ Surface Designs. You are responsible for ensuring your details are accurate and complete when ordering. You also confirm that the credit or debit card used is yours and that you have sufficient funds to make the payment.
Courses
You may book a course either in person, by email, or over the phone. Full payment is required at the time of booking.
It is your responsibility to ensure the course is suitable for you and that you meet any prerequisites outlined in course literature.
Attendance at the course is your responsibility. Please confirm the course details, including the time, date, and venue.
If a participant’s behaviour is deemed unacceptable and disruptive to others, we may remove them from the course. Refunds in this case are at our discretion.
We undertake to provide the course with reasonable skill and care in accordance with industry standards.
All participants must adhere to our health, safety, security, and emergency policies.
We are not responsible for the loss or theft of your belongings while attending a course.
If a course cannot be run as scheduled, we will notify you promptly and offer an alternative date. If this date is unsuitable, a full refund will be issued.
Courses are booked for a specific person and are non-transferable.
We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule your course and will notify you at least 3 days before the course. If this happens, we will reimburse you using the same payment method, with no additional fees.
In the event of a no-show or cancellations within 14 days of the course date, we cannot guarantee a refund or rescheduling.
