Velature is an Italian water-based colour wash, traditionally used for cloudy or antiqued effects. The natural siloxane base enables Velature to be applied exterior and interior and provides great breathability and water repellency. Velature is highly suitable for both traditional and contemporary finishes.

Colour washes are at the heart of Italian decor and are invaluable when creating patina, aged effect or shading on decorative plasters like Marmorino, Travertino, Intona or Intonachino. Furthermore it can be put on top of fibrous, gypsum, lime and silicate plasters.
