Our eco-friendly ‘Grassello Naturale’ polished plaster is an easy-to-apply, ready-mixed Venetian stucco base coat. With this purely lime-based product you’ll create an algae and mould resistant and hypoallergenic finish, which will clear the air through decarbonisation thus, regulating humidity around it.

You can specify this ‘stucco veneziano’ or Venetian plaster for a variety of projects from restorations to listed buildings to passivhaus developments.

It’s important to note that you should finish any Grassello Naturale with a a coat of Venetian, a high-gloss polished plaster, for the best effect.

 

Application 

Before using Grassello Naturale apply Universal primer.  Once the finish is complete, you should protect the plaster (either Grassello Naturale or Venetian as a top coat) using Wax D’arte. The right tool to apply the polished plaster Grassello Naturale is a Venetian plastering trowel.
